I like how the lighting got more dramatic as the video went on. Started to think I was watching a cage fight promo or something.

Hey Coach, I just ordered the P90x and I cant wait to start working on it…as you I’m a former baseball player that was used to do hardcore exercise daily but since I quit on that I’ve been far away from the Gym or trackfield..I’m 6’00″ height and 235 pnds weight..So I wanted some tips on where to start, if I can start up with the Classic phase or lean phase, wanted to know also if in the meantime should start running and getting back on track before starting the programm?.Can I get your email?

Yes, I already have a coach.

  • CoachJoshS says:

Losing body fat sometimes takes some adjustments, and I can help you with that. However, you already have a Beachbody coach don’t you?

  • CoachJoshS says:

    Haha thanks bro.

It’s a tough workout, but it’s worth it! You can find diet tips of my website iwanttogetripped(dot)com.

  • CoachJoshS says:

I like how the Nutrition Guide is set up because it helps you burn the fat first with low carbs and then gradually increases the carbs each month. Check out the “Q&A” section on my website iwanttogetripped(dot)com for more information on the diet.

  • CoachJoshS says:

Haha thanks man. I’ve been keeping up with your videos and everything as well. Go ahead and send me a video response to this video and I’ll get it posted. Oh and I’m getting you to coach soon!

There are ways to add on mass with P90X. I just wrote a post about it on my site iwanttogetripped(dot)com.

  • smwvikings44 says:

Yea.. P90x just tones your muscle and helps drop fat.

  • kaziizak says:

@pojo205 your right on the money. P90x is based on interval training, so u get little rest in between while keeping your heart rate up. its amazing if you want to get ripped (lose weight) but if ur looking into adding a lot of muscle, then this isnt gunna give you those kind of results. p90x is great for starting out, to lose weight and get good stamina/endurance but other than that switch to another program primarily powerlifting for mass . my 2 cents

  • pojo205 says:

i’m not fully convinced by p90x. it seems that you mostly will just get really cut from it. giving you that ripped look. there’s no doubt you will put on some muscle from this but I think you can only put on so much with push ups, pull ups. etc.
it seems like a very good workout plan for getting fit and having a healthy lifestyle but for putting on muscle mass and for acquiring a lot of strength you definitely need some weights.

When i was 15 i joined the highschool wrestling team, and nothing against p90x it was harder (proly cause it had more cardio and im an asthmatic but ya know =] ) if you keep working at it, it wont be too hard. Just dont hurt yourself and keep at it, and you’ll notice results.

  • mattwg2009 says:

lol, just watch this video every now and then…. thats what im gona do!

day 5, legs and back here we come!

  • dcomis says:

    woah man, nice tranformation!
do u have any motivaion tips u can tell me?

  • TearsOfTomorrow says:

honestly dude, if you’re not used to working out everyday, u dont have to follow a strict diet. i did this program and lost 30 pounds and all i did was stop drinking soda and i quit eating fried stuff. i would just stick to your diet

  • rezfromdead says:

Hey Josh.. im about to start the p90x program and i was just wondering about the diet? I already follow a high protein, medium carb, low fat diet… so could i stick with that throughout the program or is there resrictions on how much u have to take in a day?

    Thanks! ;]
