Starky’s 1st Round P90x Transformation
Decided to update the description of my video seeing how I am getting a lot of similiar questions. Its not that I don’t mind answering them, but sometimes it takes me awhile to get back to people. I want you to have your answer immediately so you can kick a$$ on P90x sooner lol. So there are basically 4 questions I keep getting. 1.) How much weights did you use? Answer: I used only 10 lbs dumbells the entire 1st round. Yes that is correct two 10 lbs dumbells and you can still get great results. *Note* You may see that I used 20 lbs dumbells in the video. This video was created after my 1st round. I am currently using 20 lbs dumbells and resistance bands on my 2nd round. 2.) What supplements did you use? Answer: The only supplements I used and currently use is Super Advance Body Fortress Whey Protein. (chocolate flavor if you had to know
) This protein can be bought at Wal-mart and othe retailers. Wal-mart had it cheapest for around $13. The reason I bought this was because it has good amount of protein per serving and its easy on the wallet. 3. What program did you do? Answer: I choose to do the Classic program of P90x. That is all I did no more no less! Lastly and probably the most asked Diet 4.) What was your diet like or did you follow the nutrition guide? Answer: I followed the guide loosely and by that I mean I used the outline of the guide. There are phases in the nutrition guide. Each phase has a ratio of protein/carbs/fats. my first week is killing my entire body and also the areas i have been working on my tripes were sore even when i didnt work on them… is that normal ? also what percentage of body fat did you have when you first started?

@MrBlueEyes16 roughly 1800 to 2000 i would say my first 2 phases then i brought it up to about 2500 in my third phase. once again i did not follow the nutrition guide to a “T”. Do what works for you.

was your first day your worse i did chest and back and then i couldnt do the ab ripper because it was too much do you think that is ok and from now on should i complete every workout?
What do you think your average calorie intake a day was?
@skullkiller123 I didnt feel any of those on my first day, but on my 2nd day doing plyo ya. I would say its kinda normal to feel this way if you havent worked out in awhile. This program is no joke so if its your first round and your a bit out of shape, take it easy i would suggest. Take a longer breaks in between and pace yourself. Even I take longer breaks now and then but soon you’ll be running circles around the ppl on the vid!
@siksauce when u first started p90x the first day, did u feel abit light headed/dizzy/sick?

i have a questionin my hand book it tells me i need to do like day 1 certain thing day 2 certain thing, but what if i dont want to train that part of my body do i still have to do it ? :/

@lancetheking I consume enough to get my daily protein in. Which would be half you body weight in grams. Example I weigh 160ish so I would eat and drink at least 80grams of protein per day. This could be combo of shakes, foods, snacks, etc.
@fixxxer602 I definetly mixed it up lol. The meal plan I posted was a sample to give people an idea so that they could come up with something themselves.
@HHSwrestling09 Yes eggs and steak are very good source. I didnt include it because I didnt want to list every single item i eat lol. The meal plane in my description was a sample, if I ate that everyday I would hate myself lol. I always say the web is you friend and researching is key to finding out other great sources of food to eat to mix things up.

@gordie444 I have heard quite a few ppl drink chocolate milk for recovery drinks and do fine on P90x. Its up to you if you want to switch. I prolly would to get more protein in your diet per cup. the diet i used was a modifed version of p90x. I have a sample in my description box.
@juanc5347 The ones I notice on the P90x vid are a lot thinner and could be painful laying on them. The one I have is thicker and really soft and comfy. But the main reason I bought the mat was so that I didnt sweat all over the carpet lol. Check out different retailers and get a better one if it really bothers you. I bought mine at Marshalls for only $15. i know wal-mart has cheaper ones but not sure how comfy they are.
