P90x Results: It works for women!

Here’s my final results. I wasn’t completely strict on the diet, I added a bit of running in (that’s my thing) but stuck with the workouts and really got some muscle results. I’m recommending it, especially if you need a plan to get you going…and it’s way cheaper than a personal trainer!

Hi! I just purchased the p90x after watching an infomercial…I was impressed by the results in the ad, and also, by everyone’s results here. I have a lot of muscle already, tho buried under fat! LOL! I am hoping to lose fat and weight! Did you purchase the wt. loss pills that come with the p90x for a 30 day trial? Did you purchase any other products! You look RIPPED!!! Tho u weren’t fat to start with…just needed toning…Which u did and THEN SOME!!! Any suggestions for me???

Hi there…My bf and I started the program yesterday, including the diet. (Phase 1, Level 2) We also did the first workout which was the chest and back along with the ab ripper…and I must say, i feel so discouraged. I cannot do a single pull up, so I used the bands for those workouts.

I cannot do nearly the amount of pushups that they do in the video, and some of the types of pushups (like the diamond) I couldn’t even do at all. Did you have any of these problems at all?

This woman looks incredible. Those that think she looks disgusting are part of the group of men that choose stereotypes and how women should look. That’s wrong. I like different shapes and sizes and I’m a woman myself. And yes, some women can bulk up and respond the same way men do to training. I have a friend that’s 185, 5′ 7″ and all muscle. She doesn’t use drugs, but uses whey protein and eats lots of protein. Its the same thing as anyone else.

on the p90x program you let your muscles rest every other day but you still workout. you just work out different muscles than you did the day before.

  • sheargal1 says:

did you do classic, double, or lean

  • Zsidotrigger says:

hold up, you said you “brought it everyday” did you alternate with wieght lifting and cardio or do it all everyday cuz i thaught it was better to alternate to let your muscles heal but if your doing it everyday Im missing out so-to-speak

  • PolliSecretos says:

Nice you are the best ispiration that i’ve found since your a woman like I am, incredible results, what version did you do?

  • NoSaltyPeanuts says:

Can you still get results with the pull up bar?

  • soccerismyantidrug says:

I’m not really arguing with you at all. I’m tired of this conversation though so have a good day.

  • Speedytrip says:

Where did I say natural? Find another hobby. You just want to argue for no reason.

  • soccerismyantidrug says:

Not in the way you’re describing:
“(Women CAN weigh 200lbs with 5% body fat with proper training and supplements (but why would they want that!!!”
Like I said… what you’re describing is unnatural.

  • andr192 says:

    you look amazing

  • Speedytrip says:

They can’t gain muscle mass as much and as easily as men (mostly because of testosterone) but they still can.

  • soccerismyantidrug says:

Uhmm women can’t really gain much muscle mass without steroids. Just saying.

  • Speedytrip says:

Wow. I though I was clear. I was never disrespectful to this woman and I know she doesnt weigh 200lbs (I exagerated to make my point clear!) I’m just saying, personnaly if I was a woman and doing the program I’d go with more reps and less weigh. Im not saying she’s huge and disguting (shes obviously not). Just saying if I was her I’d be careful with muscle mass. And thats just my personnal opinion. Thats all Im saying, stop looking for something negative in my comment.

  • soccerismyantidrug says:

She is far from 200 lbs of almost pure muscle though. What you’re describing is a female body builder who has to use steroids to gain that much muscle, which is not natural. I think that is disgusting but I also think that men that huge are disgusting too. Anything that looks that unnatural is unattractive. This video pertains to a woman who is still feminine and small, yet muscular, so why are you commenting about 200 lb women??

  • Speedytrip says:

Shes more fit then I am and yes shed have a chance at kicking my ass. Women CAN weigh 200lbs with 5% body fat with proper training and supplements (but why would they want that!!!). All Im saying is more muscle mass doesnt always mean sexier (same goes for men). So its just a personnal opinion nothing about wanting to promote weak skinny anorexic women. I think you can be a strong fit women and remain feminin. Thats all. For those screaming sexist go ahead, just shows how much you know about me.

  • soccerismyantidrug says:

Btw, great job fitchickCanada. I just started this program and I’m motivated to get results like you now.

  • soccerismyantidrug says:

Speedytrip, who wrote in the books that women cannot be muscular? That’s sexist. You’re just mad because she could probably kick your ass lol.

  • Speedytrip says:

I think you missunderstood my opinion. She’s cute and had great results I recognized that. I just think that men usually have more muscles because of hormones and genetics, I don’t see why women would want to try to be like men, they are not (not more or less, just different!). Just as men often don’t have their flexibility.
